A cancer diagnosis is only part of the story. What comes before and after should be part of the conversation too. This short documentary for Novartis Healthcare follows Leanne Pero’s inspiring journey and forms part of a series designed to encourage more open conversations about cancer.

The brief for this film was to remain true to Leanne’s story, including touching on incredibly sensitive and personal topics. But we also wanted to ground the story in her love of dance and to show that there is life beyond a cancer diagnosis.
