This case study for Google and Shopify looks at how Branch, an office furniture company in New York, creates its holiday campaigns. I directed the film, combining interview‑led content with a commercial documentary style. The aim of the film was to show the way that Shopify can benefit a smaller independent company whilst capturing the spirit and charm of the business. We used stop‑motion sequences to bring Branch’s products to life and to add energy to the film.
Key Challenges – Communicating a lot of facts and figures in a short space of time whilst keeping the energy upbeat and energetic. I worked with the contributors to keep there responses authentic and engaging and created visual interest throughout.
